Just wondering if you all could help me with something.
I've been frustrated with drawing lately, mainly because I can't come up with anything interesting to draw...or at least interesting enough to put a lot of hours into. I also realize that I should really start drawing characters that have been published in one form or another that way in the future I could possibly get some companies interested in my art...however, fan art pin-ups are kind of boring if the character is just posing or standing there...sooo....
In order to do fan art and be interested in doing it, I was thinking perhaps I should try to do something like a cross over battle between many different characters in a comic versus anime type thing. It's really hard to choose which characters should go at each other though. I was thinking of just posting up a poll or something asking what kind of matches people would like to see but never worked for me in the past.
Basically what I'm asking for is your opinion and speculation. I was thinking perhaps you could give me a couple cool characters that you would like to see go at it and kick the crap out of each other, one from the comic book world, and the other from the anime/manga world. I'll do my best to do some sort of pin-up of the two duking it out. It'd be cool if you could tell me where you would like to see them fighting too. I'd figure that if I get a good response from the pin-up when I put it up on the net then I could ask people who they think should win and why and then do some sequentials. It would be completely unbiased (hope I spelt that right haha).
If I get a lot of responses to this idea, that's great, I'll review them and eventually choose the one the looks the most interesting or make a list of the fights that are the most interesting. Please don't make a match and then say who you think should win immediately, that part comes later. I just want to see if this works, if it does, awesome, if it doesn't...eh...we'll see...
Anyhow, thanks everyone! I hope you all find this to be an interesting (though not all that original, I know) idea and start posting ideas like crazy because I'm not very patient...and I'll probably check this thread every five minutes...I'm lame like that hahaha

Another note: When you mention the battle, also mention what style of art you think it should be done in, mainly because I want to try different styles than what I do now...thanks everyone!!!
